I’m a seasoned design writer and content designer specialising in e-commerce, B2C and high-end retail brands. Working closely with my clients and product teams, I help create memorable brand and user experiences that engage and convert. I’m a firm believer in the power of design and its potential to inspire and do good.
From interior design, to journalism, to content design
An interior designer by training, I began my professional career telling physical stories through space. Today, I work mostly in digital environments, crafting user-centric copy for apps and websites.
How does one go from interior designer to writing, you might wonder? I took what was intended to be a break from my job as a designer in Vancouver and moved to the Netherlands in 2013 to pursue a master's degree in poetry (one of my first passions) at the University of Amsterdam.
While writing my thesis I joined interior design magazine Frame as an in-house editor, an opportunity that allowed me to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for design and spatial experiences. Loving my new career in journalism and life in Amsterdam, I decided to stay.
A few years later I made the switch to freelance, a move which helped me diversify my portfolio and develop my skills as an editor, copywriter and content designer. Since then, I’ve worked remotely from France, Italy and Canada with clients all over the world.
My client list to date includes German sportswear giant Adidas, American social network Nextdoor, European boutique hotelier Sircle Collection, Dutch interior design brands Marcel Wanders and Moooi, and international lifestyle and design publications Azure, Darc, Nuvo, and Frame. More recently, I joined French brand Decathlon as its first senior content designer, where I specialise in CRM, crafting personalised and united email campaigns that resonate and convert.
In addition to English, I am fluent in Italian, French and Spanish.
